Refuge is our Wednesday Night Youth Service that focuses on enjoying God through the acts of worship that includes scripture reading, music, prayer, and teaching. Refuge is a term David used in Psalms 16:1, which states, "Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge." David protected himself by putting a hedge about him of the thorny bush when hiding from his brother who saught to have him killed and to be found safe from animals that could kill. David was the King, Kings wear crowns; and later we see that Jesus himself wore a crown of thorns and provides for us a refuge, so that we too may be found safe in Him.
